Gift Aid

As part of the government’s Gift Aid scheme, when a UK taxpayer makes a donation to a charity we are able to claim an additional 28p for every pound you donate. So if you were to donate £100.00 to Just 1 Life, it means you would actually be giving us £128.00.

Gift Aid only applies to “gifts” such as direct donations and sponsorship monies, basically any donation that is totally voluntary, it does not cover anything such as raffles, ticket sales etc where there is something in return for the money given. Each donor is required to sign a declaration or to tick a box stating that they are a UK taxpayer and therefore eligible to claim Gift Aid.
